Alfreda M. Ellis,91 of Hollidaysburg, PA, passed away on April 26, 2023 at Garvey Manor. She was born September 12, 1931 in Lakemont, PA, a daughter of the late Alfred and Helen (Neely) Roland. She graduated from Hollidaysburg High School and attended Altoona Campus of Penn State. She was a certified paralegal. She retired in 1999 from Investigation and Protective Services after thirty-four years of service. She also worked as a notary public from 1969 until 1997 as well as being a member of the Lakemont Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father Forrest Templon, sister Patty Potter and great-granddaughter Sydnee Ellis. She is survived by son Wayne A. Ellis married to Betsy, granddaughter Jessica Shultz, great-granddaughters Adia and Zoie Litzinger and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.


Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at The Good Funeral Home, Inc., 108 Alto Reste Park, Altoona, PA 16602 from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.


Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at The Good Funeral Home, Inc., with Pastor Ken Smith officiating.


Burial will be held privately at the family’s convenience.
