Obituary for Anna L. "Ann" Stover
Anna L. Stover, 91, of Altoona passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Cornwall Manor, Lebanon.
She was born on March 4, 1931, in Altoona, PA; a daughter of the late Irvin Thomas Slemmer and Ruth Leola (Matthews) Slemmer. She married Ralph “Rusty” Stover Jr. who preceded her in death on October 30, 2013.
Ann was a former School Van Driver for the Altoona school district. She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, and spending time with her loving family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Rustyann Echard (Gary) of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Tyler Echard (Liz) of York Springs, Logan Echard (Erin) of Hershey, and Haleigh Echard (Charlie) of Rochester, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, I.J. Slemmer.
Family will receive friends from 11am- noon on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at the Good Funeral Home, 108 Alto Reste Park, Altoona. Interment will be private at Alto Reste Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Williamsburg Ladies Auxiliary, 416 W. 2nd Street, Williamsburg, PA 16693.
