Obituary for Anthony Michael "Tony" Pucciarella
Anthony ‘Tony’ Michael Pucciarella, 79, of Altoona, PA, passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at home.
Tony was born in Queens, NY on May 3, 1942. He was the son of the late Frank Earnest and Hazel Marie Pucciarella (Ketrow).
Tony is survived by: his daughter Cherie Anne Bower (Ben); his girlfriend Sue Kaylor; his sisters Frances Fiore, Carmel Trimarco and Roberta Pucciarella; his brothers James, Richard and David Pucciarella; and his grandchildren Sage Catherine and Mayah Grace Bower.
Tony was a 1961 graduate of Altoona Area High School and earned a bachelor’s degree at The Pennsylvania State University. He served in the United States Air Force stationed in Alaska, and was a member of the Cathedral in Altoona.
Tony enjoyed the outdoors and history. He loved to travel, especially with his girlfriend, Sue, and he cherished every moment he spent with his granddaughters.
Family and Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on December 30, 2021
at The Good Funeral Home, Inc., Altoona, PA, with a funeral mass immediately following the visitation. Internment will take place at Alto-Reste Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Tony’s name may be sent to the Humane Society of Blair County.
