Obituary for Beatrice E. "Bea" Stoltz
Beatrice “Bea” Elaine Stoltz, 86, a resident of the Graystone Manor at Bellemeade, passed away July 26, 2022.
She was born on August 11, 1935, in Juniata; a daughter of the late John J. and Lucinda (Smith) Harris. On November 3, 1956, she married Eugene F. Stoltz who preceded her in death on July 26, 1997.
Beatrice was employed as a LPN in the Altoona area, retiring from Valley View after twelve years of service.
She was a devoted member of the First Church of Christ in Altoona.
Some of her hobbies included: reading, crocheting, gardening and working on puzzles. She adored her grandchildren and great - grandchildren. Being a proud grandmother is an understatement. Bea lived for her family and loved them dearly.
Surviving are her three daughters, Sherry Stoltz of Hollidaysburg, Karen Everhart (Gary) of Altoona, and Lorrie Weyant (Kirk) of Altoona; four grandchildren, Matthew Everhart (Lydia), Samantha Robinson (Robert), Joshua Weyant (Becka) and Caroline Weyant; nine great-grandchildren, Aiden, Brooke, Elijah, Lily, Mackena, Nevaeh, Dulce, Rowan and Aria; two sisters, Hazel Rupp of Altoona and Evelyn Smith of Altoona. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at the Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto Reste Park, Altoona. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1p.m. Interment will be private at Alto Reste Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602.
