Brian W Fornwalt, 55, Altoona, died Monday at UPMC Altoona following a brief illness.
He was born in Altoona, son of Ada M. (Stine) Fornwalt and the late Fred F. Fornwalt.
Surviving are his mother; a sister, Colleen F. Fornwalt of Lava Hot Springs Idaho; an uncle, John Stine; an aunt, Delores McCall; and several cousins.
Brian was a 1981 graduate of Altoona Area High School and Vo Tech Auto Mechanics program. He was employed at Lowes, Warnaco, Mid State Tool and Supply Inc., and Pittsburgh Glass Works. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, the Horseshoe Amateur Radio Club, Bellwood Sportsmen’s Association and Tri-County Trap League.
He enjoyed HAM radio operation where he was known as N3ZQY by his many radio friends.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will take place in Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
