Obituary for Charles H. "Chuck" Angermeier Jr.

Charles "Chuck" H. Angermeier Jr., 85, Duncansville, died in his home on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 surrounded by his family.

Born on April 10, 1936 in Altoona, he was the son of the late Charles H Sr and Theresa (Kneidinger) Angermeier. On October 7, 1960 he married his loving wife of 61 years Audrey Smith.

In addition to his wife, Chuck is survived by his daughter Mary Dillen; one son, Timothy Angermeier (Phyllis); one sister Sophie Catherman; one brother John Angermeier; 4 grandchildren Jason Crain (Christa Johnson), Heidi Colbert (Brenton), Philip Dillen and Rachael Angermeier; as well as 2 great grandchildren, Layla Crain and Waylon Colbert.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ann Mercer, Marcella Angermeier and Patricia Treese.

Chuck was an avid Penn State Football fan. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing, shooting archery and bowling. He was a member of the Brush Mountain Sportsman’s Club, Unters Uns, the Bavarian and was employed by SKF for many years.

He proudly served his country with the United States Army.

Family and friends will be received at The Good Funeral Home Inc. on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 10:00 am until Noon. A funeral service will immediately follow with Pastor Ralph Hamer officiating. Military honors will be performed by the Blair County Honor Guard.
