Charlotte M. Vaughn, 91, Altoona, passed away Thursday at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona.
She was born in Ashville, daughter of the late Vernon Ball and Helen Riley. On May 20, 1950, she married Robert P. Vaughn, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 16, 1991.
Surviving are four daughters: Vivian Erbe in Illinois, Charlene Martino and Cheryl Vaughn, both in Pennsylvania, and Jeannette Beeler in Virginia; two sons: Kenneth and Kevin Vaughn, both in Pennsylvania; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Louise Farrell and Linda Stacey, both of Pennsylvania; one brother, Ralph Ball, in Michigan; six nieces; and nine nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three great-grandchildren: Carrie Vaughn, Robbie Martino and Julie Mauk; and her brother, Melvin Ball.
Charlotte was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
She enjoyed watching the World Series every year.
A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are by The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park.
