Cheryl Jane Hoff

Cheryl Jane Hoff, 70, Altoona, passed away peacefully Monday at her home, surrounded by family following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Eugene B. and Emma R. (Walker) Gutshall. On Jan. 10, 1970, Cheryl married Joseph C. Hoff and he preceded her in death on June 22, 2017.
Surviving are a daughter, Melissa J. Fels (Craig); two sons: Joseph E. Hoff Sr. and Justin T. Hoff and wife Belinda and daughter, Brittany; five grandchildren: Brynn Danella, Joseph E. Hoff Jr., Camryn Hoff, Lauren Fels and Erin Fels; and a sister, Donna J. Gutshall.
She was preceded in death by her aunt, Claire Walker.
Cheryl was a 1968 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She was employed by Verizon and enjoyed shopping, crossword puzzles, playing Candy Crush, but most of all she enjoyed taking care of her five grandchildren.
All services will be privately held at the convenience of her family. Interment will take place in Alto-Reste Park. Arrangements are by The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park.
