Obituary for Cheryl Anne Steinbrunner

Cheryl Anne Steinbrunner, 64, Lititz, formerly of Altoona, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday at Lancashire Hall in Lititz, after an extended battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William L. and Miriam L. (Heaton) Steinbrunner.

Surviving are four brothers: Kent (Gwen), Kurt, Eric and Brock; a sister, Karen Abramo (Tony); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cheryl was a 1973 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School and a 1977 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University. She was a lifetime member of the Penn State Alumni Association, and a member of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Hollidaysburg. Cheryl loved reading, walking, spending time with nieces and nephews and the family vacations to the Outer Banks, N.C.

Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2020, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 315 Jones St., Hollidaysburg, Pastor Jeanne Jacobson officiating. A private interment will take place at Alto-Reste Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Cheryl’s name can be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 1100 Liberty Ave., Suite E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 or American Cancer Society, Blair Unit, 1004 N. Juniata St., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
