Obituary for David Conley

David Conley, 79, Altoona, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Sept. 25, 2022.He was born in Altoona, son of the late Kenneth Max Lowery and Wilda Gertrude Conley Lowery.
He was also preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Ladine Carrick Conley; and grandson, Alexander Nathaniel Conley.
Surviving are three children: Sean Patrick Conley, Kathleen Ann "Katie" Conley and Christopher Watson Conley; grandchildren: Christopher Michael Conley and Joshua Patrick Conley; great-granddaughter, Blake Conley; his sisters, Janice Howard and Nancy Grieger; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
David served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He loved flying and worked as an air traffic controller at Houston Center.
David has been interred with Military Honors at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
