Obituary for Dennis Hostler
Dennis L. Hostler
August 2, 1947 - October 10, 2022
Monday, October 10th Dennis went to be with the Lord at the age of 75. He was born August 2, 1947, son of Donald and Clara (Bell) Hostler. He leaves his wife and Goddaughter, Holly Hamilton and numerous nieces and nephews.
He married Judith Cueman in 1976, they were married for 46 years. In 2004, he moved back to his hometown of Altoona, PA.
Dennis graduated from Altoona Area High School in 1965. He then served his country in the Air Force for nine years during the Vietnam War. He then went to work as a police officer in Newport News, Virginia for thirty four years. He was a canine officer, a field training officer and a state certified driving instructor. He retired in 2004 as a Master Detective. Dennis was a member of Mardorf United Methodist Church.
Dennis was known for his “Servants Heart”.
Services are private. Interment will be at Alto Reste Park, Altoona.
