Donna Kay Beck, 79, of Hollidaysburg, passed away unexpectedly on Friday. She was born in Cross Keys, daughter of Robert W. and Isabella Detwiler, and raised in the home of her maternal grandparents, Charles E. and Edna B. Langham. She married Raymond L. Beck on July 18, 1959, and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2013.
She is survived by her children: T. Scott Beck (Marilyn) of Chapin, S.C., Steven L. Beck (Bev) of Roaring Spring, Wendy L. Gill (Nevin) of Duncansville, and Tracy M. LeGrand (Ron) of Duncansville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Hunter Gill, Kody Leonard, Remington Legrand, Karlee Diehl, Brianna Yingling, Marla Beck, and Christopher Legrand; and four great-grandchildren: Jaxson, Ava, Sadie, and Bryson.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Detwiler.
Donna Kay retired from Mead Westvaco and enjoyed doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved her dog, Miss Maggie.
Family and friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday July 20, 2021, and on Wednesday July 21, 2021, from 10 to the 11 a.m. funeral service at The Good Funeral Home Inc. with Pastor Timothy Guyer officiating. Interment will take place in Carson Valley Cemetery.
