Obituary for Donna Jean Beigle
Donna Jean Beigle, 82, of Dunnings Highway, Newry, passed away peacefully on Thursday at home.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Fred and Margaret (Little) Fields.
On Oct. 3, 1959, she was united in marriage to E. James Beigle at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Newry, and he preceded her in death on April 30, 2015.
Surviving are her four children: Mark Beigle and wife, Patte; Donna Eggerstorfer; Corinda Ermin and husband, Howard Jr.; and Michelle Anderson and husband, Todd; son-in-law, Damien DeAngelis; nine grandchildren: Valerie Eggerstorfer, Frank Eggerstorfer, Matthew Beigle, Kelly Beigle, Madeline DeAngelis, Olivia DeAngelis, Liam DeAngelis, Catherine Anderson and Nathaniel Anderson; two great-grandchildren: Devon Morris and Trevor Morris; a sister, Barbra Ramsey; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa DeAngelis; brother, Fred Fields; and son-in-law, Jeff Eggerstorfer.
Donna was a graduate of Altoona High School. She spent most of her working years as a homemaker, staying at home and taking care of the children. Donna loved being a grandma and was known as “Grandma Beigle” to her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Newry.
Friends and family will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2020, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 704 Patrick Lane, Newry, Father Alan Zeth celebrant. Burial will be at St. Patrick Cemetery, Newry.
