Obituary for Duane Edgar "Kadoo" Corl
Duane Edgar Corl, 57, of Portage, passed away Thursday at Conemaugh Memorial
Medical Center.
He was born in Altoona, son of Harry K. Corl and Bonnie (Gelbke) Webb.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Duane was a member of the Claysburg Church of God. He was truly devoted to God and his church. Always making God his #1 priority.
He enjoyed going fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends - he was known to some as “Kadoo”. He was a people person, the second someone met him they thought he was their best friend. Kadoo had a knack for making people laugh and smile, he was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Webb; two sons, Joshua Corl (Amber) and Andrew Spencer; three grandchildren, Ryland Corl, Carson Lee and Brinley Corl; six siblings, Terry Corl, Andy Corl, Dan Bell, Christie Smick, Dawn Hippensteel and Debbie Morroni. He is also survived by Laura Taylor and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Friends will be received from 2p.m.-7p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15, 2021, at Claysburg Church of God, 4311 Evergreen Rd, Claysburg, with the service following at 7p.m. Burial will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021 at Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Funeral Home to help with the funeral cost. The Good Funeral Home, 108 Alto Reste Park, Altoona, PA 16601.
