Edna R. Nagle, 88, of Altoona, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday at UPMC Altoona Hospital. Edna was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Guy and Mary (Cliber) Friley. In 1949, she married Robert L. Nagle in Altoona and he preceded her in death on July 10, 2004.
Surviving are: three daughters, Gloria Marlett (Larry), Carol Muzzey (Marty), and Barbara Mills (Jon); a son, Robert Jr. (Debbie); 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; her sister, Mary Nevel; her brother, Harry Friley; and several nieces and nephews.
Edna was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Sue Olivio and Nancy Marlett; and two grandchildren, Michelle and Ralph.
She retired from the Altoona Hospital after 35 years of service. Edna enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Family and friends will be received from 10:30 to the 11 a.m. funeral service on Monday, Dec. 30, 2019, at The Good Funeral Home Inc. Interment will follow in Alto Reste Park.
