Obituary for Henry (Cassius) Strothers
Henry (Cassius) Strothers Jr., 56, of Altoona, passed away peacefully on Tuesday at his home.
He was born on Dec. 27, 1964, in Williamsport, PA; a son of Henry Strothers Sr. and Tryphine (Puckett ) Bier.
Henry loved watching and playing all types of sports. He was known for making people smile and laugh wherever he went. Most of his time was spent with his loving family, especially all the kids and grandkids.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his five children; Alyssa Strothers, Kamori Strothers, Dante Knorr, Rashadd Knorr, and Travis Kerschner; two sisters, Tryphine K. Strothers and Dorothy Harris; four grandchildren. He is also survived by his girlfriend of 24 years, Christine Stewart and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 11a.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at the Good Funeral Home, 108 Alto Reste Park Altoona.
