Jack Allen Teeter

Jack Allen Teeter, 74, passed away on Friday at home in Hollidaysburg surrounded by his loving family.


He was born on March 22, 1947, in Altoona; a son of the late John and Harriet (Closson) Teeter. On April 3, 1967, he married the love of his life, Connie (Krater) Teeter who survives in Hollidaysburg.


Jack was a 1965 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and attended Grace Bible College. After college he became an Electrician and Project Manager. He worked for Sargent Electric Company for over 35 years.


He enjoyed taking care of his property and spending his summers by the pool with his wife and family. He loved all college sports, especially Penn State football and wrestling. Jack was a devoted husband, loving father and a proud grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.


In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters; Renee Black (Tab), Raquel Moyer (Dave) and Bridget Teeter (Nic); four granddaughters, Alex Hoffman (D.J.) Jordan Black, Allison Black and Grace Magaha (Tyler). He is also survived by his great-grandson, Jackson Hoffman.


A small service will be held for Jack’s immediate family. A celebration of life for friends will be held at a later date.
