James L. Dengler, 54, Duncansville, died Wednesday evening at his home.
He was born in Altoona, the only child of the late James C. and Ellen J. (Auker) Dengler.
James is survived by a cousin, Heidi Dengler and his two cats, Mag and Pursia.
James was a graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and Bob Jones University, Greenville, South Carolina.
He was an organist and Director of Music at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Altoona.
James loved cooking, and he was a talented musician who was very active in the local music community.
A funeral mass, followed immediately by a committal service, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 806 11h St., Altoona, PA 16602.
