Janice L. Butler, 89, of Allentown, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, a week shy of her 90th birthday. She passed suddenly but peacefully in her sleep at home after a brief illness.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Harry A. and Zelphia L. (Green) Bickel.
In 1949 she married the love of her life, William A. Butler. He preceded her in death in 2014.
Surviving are her daughter, Billie (Michael) Harker of Allentown, with whom she resided; two grandchildren, Nicole (Andrew) Behler of Downingtown and Christopher (Elizabeth) Harker of Fleetwood; and a great-grandchild, Bennett Harker.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or service.
Arrangements are by The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park.
Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
