Jeremy Paul Brumbaugh, 27, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday. He was born in Altoona, a son of Elvin Brumbaugh and Teresa A. (Smith) Speckhart, married to John. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Jaxon Brumbaugh; siblings: Randy Brumbaugh, Stacey Bathurst, Mike Bathurst, Chase Speckhart, Ellie Speckhart and Joseph Beyer; maternal grandparents: Janice Gaspari and Ken Smith; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Misty R. Brumbaugh.
Jeremy attended Central High School and was formerly employed at Smith Transport. He enjoyed working on cars, riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, hiking and just being outdoors. He loved being around his family and helping others when he could; he was very generous and had the biggest heart.
Services will be private.
