Judith J. Wood, 79, of Williamsburg, passed away Wednesday at home. She was born in Clarksburg, WVa., a daughter of the late Paul John and Jean Marie (Bissett) McVaney. On Aug. 13, 1960, she was united in marriage to James R. Wood.
Along with her husband of 60 years, she is survived by her children: Tammy Verbonitz of Williamsburg and James L. Wood and his wife, Bonnie of Hollidaysburg; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ronnie McVaney.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Bonnie J. Gainer and Greg McVaney.
Judith was a member of the Williamsburg Full Gospel Church and enjoyed golfing, fishing and camping.
All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
