Always and Forever

I saw a girl at the clock out line.
With her dark brown hair and dark brown eyes,
She looks so fine.

Hey who’s that girl, I said.
To and old acquaintance, we’ll call her red.

I had to find her name and check her out.
And what I’d find wouldn’t matter no doubt!

Because her eyes captured me.
Like an island is captured by the sea.

Her alluring eyes surrounded me.
I asked her out and she said no.
But I couldn’t just let her go.

I saw her at the clock out line.
And every day she looked so fine.

C’mon Kathy, give me a chance.
Drop that guy, take a stance.

I know you're the girl of my dreams.
Though I’m calm outside, my inside screams.

Don’t say no, I’m asking again.
Don’t make this goodbye, just say when.

I’ll chase you girl over the land and the sea.
To the ends of the earth, I won’t let it be.

You said yes and you know the rest.
I do believe our love passed the test.

You’ve given me children and you’ve given me joy.
You made the man in me feel like a boy.

I write these words with love in my heart.
I’ll love you forever, may we never part.

Love always and forever,
Bob
