Obituary for Kathleen S. "Kate" Sylvester
Kathleen “Kate” Sylvester, 61, of Lewistown, PA, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023, in Altoona. She was born on December 26, 1961, in Rockford, IL; a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Norma Jean (Youngblood) Oliver.
In 1984, she married Ronald D. Sylvester II, who preceded her in death.
Kate loved her animals and her Country. She was a United States Army Veteran, serving from 1980-1988.
She is survived by one son, Ronald D. Sylvester III; four grandchildren; three siblings, Karen Oliver, Joel Oliver, and Kenneth Oliver.
Military honors will be held at 12p.m., on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto Reste Park, Altoona.
