Kenneth A. ‘Kenny’ Howell

Kenneth A. “Kenny” Howell, 76, of Hollidaysburg, recently of Homewood, passed away Friday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Runville, son of the late William D. and Mary Kay (Reese) Howell.
He married Jacquelyn Diane Dickson on Dec. 14, 1963.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Renee Diane Best (Brent) of Hollidaysburg; a son, Michael Alan Howell (Michelle) of Port Matilda; four grandchildren: Ryan Howell (Penny Prough), Tyler Howell (Emily Newman) and Justin and Jordan Best; and a great granddaughter, Gracelyn Howell. Kenny is also survived by two sisters, Mary Ann Breon (Kerm) and Nancy Barnes; a brother, Stacie Howell (Betsey); and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Robinson; and his brother, William David Howell Jr.
Kenny enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and dogs. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
He was of the Methodist Faith.
Kenny was a lifetime member of the Heidelberg Country Club, Bavarian Aid Society, and a social member of the Bellefonte Undine Fire Co.
He was a 1962 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School, and retired as manager of Network Services for Verizon after 38 years.
All services will be privately held at the convenience of the family. Entombment will take place in Alto Reste Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park.
