Obituary for Kenneth Paul Smith
Kenneth Paul Smith, 72, Roaring Spring passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 at UPMC Altoona.
Born in Roaring Spring on October 26, 1946 to Herbert A Smith and Marion Dodson Blazevich. He married Dolores J. Brooks in Martinsburg, PA on January 7, 1966.
Along with his loving wife, Kenneth is survived by their 4 children: Cindy Smith (Jim Burke), David Smith and wife Valerie, Amy Hinish, and John Smith all of Roaring Spring; grandson, Anthony Hinish (Heather Gibson) of Altoona; granddaughter, Avery Smith of Roaring Spring; brother H. Michael Smith; sister Suzanne Strong; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant child, and grandson.
He retired from Blank Book/RSPP in 2014 with over 40 years of service. He enjoyed farming, listening to gospel music. He dearly loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was a 1965 graduate of Central High School.
He attended Target One Ministries in Martinsburg.
Friends will be received from 1:30 until 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at The Good Funeral Home Inc. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm with Pastor Philip Waite officiating. A burial will take place at Alto Reste Park.
