Kent A. Moore

Kent A. Moore, 61, Flinton, passed away Thursday at his residence.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Shirley Lou Moore.
Surviving are a sister, Tracy Moore of Altoona; a daughter, Marki Schaefer of Hastings; and his ex-wife, Barbara Kollar of Hastings. He is also survived by his canine companions, Ellie and Kaylee.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janel Moore; and a nephew, Chad Estep.
Kent was a hardworking man who worked as a laborer for most of his life. He cherished animals, especially his two dogs. Some of his interests included being outside and watching his favorite football and baseball teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Pirates, even when they were losing.
He was a wonderful man who is so loved and will be deeply missed.
Honoring Kent's wishes, there will be no public services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Beagles R Us Rescue, 7042 S. 500 E., Columbia City, IN 46725.
