Kevin Thomas Campbell, 66, of Altoona, died Thursday at UPMC Altoona. He was the son of the late Harry and Cecilia (Brant) Campbell.
He is survived by: his son, Jacob Campbell of Butler; two brothers, John Campbell and Joe Campbell (Cheri); a sister Bonnie Neal; long time partner, Karen Steele; as well as his special nieces and nephew: Sydney, Abby and David.
Kevin loved to read, often reading a book cover to cover in a day's time. He enjoyed sports and could be found cheering for the Steelers on game day. He had a wonderful sense of humor, always joking and making people laugh, genuinely a happy-go-lucky guy, never complaining about a thing.
Kevin was a 1972 graduate of Northern Cambria High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Saint Francis University.
A celebration of life for Kevin will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kevin’s name may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
