Kevin Dean Hollen, 55, of Myrtle Beach, S. C., passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Feb. 23, 2021. He was the son of Kenneth and Donna (Albright) Hollen of Altoona.
Kevin was a 1983 graduate of Altoona Area High School. Upon graduation, Kevin enlisted into the United States Air Force and trained to become an Air Traffic Controller until he retired.
Kevin was a devoted father, caring brother, and beloved son. He enjoyed golfing and spreading the love and faith of the Lord. He loved to dabble in new hobbies such as woodworking and pen turning. He was a very dedicated Christian who went above and beyond to help another in need and will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew him.
Kevin is survived by: his parents, Kenneth and Donna (Albright) Hollen; his son, Kristopher Hollen and wife, Jessica; his daughter, Nichole (Hollen) Gerace and husband, Brett; his grandchildren: Kaleb, Jacelyn and Levi; his brother, Brian Hollen; his sister, Lisa Faber; his brother, Perry Hollen and wife, Heather; many nieces and nephews.
