Lillian P. ‘Lil’ Dively

June 20, 1925– Nov. 21, 2020

Lillian P. “Lil” Dively, 95, Claysburg, passed away Saturday at her home.

She was born in Pavia, daughter of the late John C. and Frances L. (Lenhart) Herman. On Oct. 23, 1954, she married Robert M. Dively, who passed away earlier this year on April 12, 2020.

Surviving are her two sons: Joel L. (Deborah) and Jay A. (Karen) Dively; six grandchildren: Joel R. Dively, Angel B. Dively, Jason and Robert Pagliaro, Janelle L. Edmundson and Jamie N. Vincent; eight great-grandchildren: Trent Dively, Abigail Keller, Zachary Dively, Brooke and Trevor Edmundson, Weston Vincent and Taylor and Braden Pagliaro; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers: John M., William P. and Carl Herman; and by four sisters: Annie C. Walter, Julian Diehl, "Lena" Magdalena Weyandt and Minnie Clouse.

Lillian worked at Puritan and at the Altoona Shoe Co. She enjoyed her flowers, gardening, puzzles, playing cards, doing word searches and watching NASCAR with her husband, Bob.

A special thanks is extended to her dear niece and nephew: Bonnie and Darvin Dively, who helped her over the years; her dear friend, Romona Yingling; and to her special neighbor, Laverne Berkey.

All services will be held privately for the immediate family only. Arrangements are by The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park.
