Linda Jean Plutko “MeMa”, 62, of Altoona, passed away onTuesday August 13, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. Linda was born on April 4, 1957 in Altoona, daughter of the late Harmon E. and Rita (Pachler) Malone. Surviving are Linda’s former husband- John F. Plutko, 2 daughters- Stephanie (Adam Ferguson) and Jennifer Plutko, a son- Greg Plutko, 5 grandchildren- Madelyn, Greyson, Raina, Olivia, and Dylan, a sister- Sonja Struke. Also surviving is Linda’s companion- Scott Galant and many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by a brother- Daniel Malone. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, loved going to the beach and shopping. Linda was a 1975 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and Altoona Vo Tech. She retired from Verizon as an operator and was a member of the Concordia Society and St. Stanislaus Kostka Brotherhood, Altoona. Friends will be received from 3p.m. until the 5p.m. funeral service on Friday August 16, 2019 at The Good Funeral Home Inc. with Pastor Elizabeth Hess officiant.
