Linda L. Williams, 76, of Altoona, passed away peacefully on Friday, after an extended illness. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late Robert and Bertha (Nichols) Crain.
Linda is survived by: one son, George Buschle (Danelle); three daughters, Donna Carlheim (John), Judy McCaulley (Jim), and Patty Gonder (Bill); five siblings, Bertha Mentzer, Carol Hoff, Daniel Crain, Susan Mayko, and Robert Samuel Crain; 12 grandchildren: Danielle, Cortnie, Teressa, Amber, Michael, James, Brittany, Trenton, Kaylee, Avery, George, and Darin; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Williams.
Linda found her calling taking care of others and had several jobs throughout her career in the medical field. She also loved music and was a talented guitar and accordion player. When she wasn’t caring for others or enjoying music, you could find Linda tapping into her creative side, making crafts. Above all, she was proud of her love and devoted faith to Jesus Christ.
She was a 1964 graduate of Altoona High School and continued her education at Altoona School of Commerce.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Alto Reste Park.
