Lyly S. Barsoum 80, of Hollidaysburg, died Wednesday July 3, 2019 at the UPMC Altoona Hospital. She married Fawzy Shanoudy Wassef on June 29, 1957 and he preceded her in death on December 24, 2015. Surviving are three sons: Essam and wife Gehan, Hany and wife Soha, and Yasser and his wife Gihane; eight grandchildren: Mark, Michael, Sarah, Andrew, Marina, Sandra, Peter, and Mary. Lyly was a member of the Coptic Orthodox Church. Friends will be received from 6p.m. until 8p.m. Sunday July 7, 2019 at The Good Funeral Home Inc. A funeral service will take place on Monday July 8, 2019 at Noon at the St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church, Altoona by Father Barsoum Eshak. Interment will be in Alto Reste Park Cemetery.
