Marcella Ann Blackie, 76, of Altoona went to be with the Lord on Sunday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Leslie and Bessie (Ickes) Webb.

On Dec. 4, 1964, she married Allen Blackie in Altoona.

Along with her husband, she is survived by three children: Michael Blackie (April), Machele Wise (Ronald) and Stephen Blakie (Sue); seven grandchildren: Anthony (Sarah), Bradley (Maysa), Adam (Brianna), Ashley, Stephanie, Ethan and Benjamin; as well as eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Bollman.

Marcella graduated from Altoona Area High School, Class of 1963. She was the former assistant manager at Santone’s Riverside and retired as food service manager from Altoona Area Vocational-Technical School.

She was a member of Catalyst Church, Altoona.

Marcella enjoyed going shopping and vacations to the beach. Above all she loved spending time with her children and family.

Family and friends will be received at 1:30 p.m. for a graveside service Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Alto-Reste Park, Altoona, with Pastor Michael Blackie officiating.
