Marian P. (Grove) Campbell, 79, of Hollidaysburg passed away peacefully on Sunday at the Presbyterian Village in Hollidaysburg. Thank you staff.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of Charles W. and Clara M. (Snyder) Grove.
Marian is survived by her brothers, James W. and Phillip E. Grove; her sisters, Cora E. Nelson and Sallie M. Sinkovitz; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Special thanks goes to her nephew, Glenn, for all his help and support, especially over the last few years. Special thanks to her dear friend, Janet Zook for all her caring visits.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Wanda M. Campbell and former husband, Clayton; and a brother, John W. Grove.
Marian worked at Mead Westvaco in the envelope division at Williamsburg, PA, and retired from the company. She was a member of the 28th Street Church of the Brethren, Altoona, PA.
Marian enjoyed cooking, trying new recipes, word puzzles, and wildlife watching. She had a special love for deer. She also enjoyed shopping, eating out and watching football, especially the Steelers and Penn State.
Friends and family will be received for a visitation at The Good Funeral Home, Alto Reste Park, from 11:00 AM until the 12:30 PM funeral service on Saturday, February 19, 2022. Pastor Dennis Braun officiating. Interment will take place at Alto-Reste Park on Monday, February 21 for family members.
