Obituary for Mary A. Seymour
Mary A. Seymour, 66, went home to Jesus on Dec. 23, 2021.
Mary's mother was Sarah Morgan of Claysburg. She had 11 siblings.
On March 5, 1971, she married Galen D. Seymour. Mary and Galen had a marriage most can only dream of with 51 years of wedded bliss. They had two sons, Galen F. Seymour of Claysburg and Darrell A. Seymour (married to Elli) of Hollidaysburg. They also helped raise Mary's youngest brother, Douglas S. Morgan (married to Rebecca) of Fishertown. Mary was an amazing grandmother of six and a great-grandmother of six.
She was preceded in death by her mother and three siblings. She is survived by eight siblings.
Mary was known to be exceptional at floral design and for her love of camping. There was nothing more important to Mary than her devotion to God and her love of family.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, at The Good Funeral Home, Altoona, where a funeral service will immediately follow visitation on Wednesday.
