Obituary for Misty Giordano
Misty Dawn Giordano, 48 of Altoona passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022.
Born on February 6, 1974, in Altoona, she was the daughter of Marcy Lambert and the late John Freidhof Sr. Misty married her high school sweetheart Mark Giordano.
She is survived by her husband Mark; two loving children Cody and Haley and future son in law Hunter; mother Marcy and mother-in-law Susan; one brother J.R. Freidhof; one stepsister Carol Lambert; stepfather Jody Lambert “Poppi”; and numerous aunts, uncles, brother and sister in-laws, nieces and nephews, especially her special nephew Ethan.
She also left behind two furry friends Keemo and Meow Meow.
In addition to her father, Misty was preceded in death by her uncle Jack Hicks Jr. and father-in-law Howard Giordano Sr.
First and foremost, Misty loved God. Her faith and her family were the most important things in her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family, relaxing and watching movies together. Misty loved all aspects of life and the beauty of the outdoors. She found comfort in gardening, going for walks and spending time at the beach. When she wasn't outside, you could find her reading a good book, loving on her pets or listening to worship music or Elvis.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4pm and 6-8 pm on Thursday, December 15, 2022, as well as 11am-12pm Friday, December 16, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church 810 Ruskin Dr, Altoona, PA 16602. A funeral service will be held on Friday at Noon. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family at Alto Reste Park.
