Patricia M. Detterbeck, 84, Altoona, PA; passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at UPMC Altoona. She was born on May 14, 1936 in Sproul, PA; a daughter of the late Robert M. Dick and Maude D. (Gray) Strong. She was united in marriage to Albert W. Detterbeck, Jr. Along with her husband she is survived by sons Drew Detterbeck, Douglas Detterbeck married to Myra, and Darren Detterbeck; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother Richard Dick and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson Charles Detterbeck and siblings Robert Dick and Viola M. Boyer.


Patricia was a graduate of Morrisons Cove High School Class of 1954 and attended Altoona Greater Career and Technical Center and the Altoona School of Commerce. She was employed twenty-five years at GTE Sylvania and then went on to work at V&F Coffee for ten years. She was a member of the Bavarian Hall Women’s Auxiliary. Patricia enjoyed collecting ceramic dolls, crafting and playing on the computer as well as playing the violin.


Friends and family will be received on Monday, June 22, 2020 from 3-5 P.M. at The Good Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Mary Emery officiating.
