Pearl Lorena (Price) Gottshall

Oct. 20, 1922 - April 15, 2019

Pearl Lorena (Price) Gottshall 96, Altoona, passed away Monday at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Imlertown, daughter of the late David O. and Estella (Dibert) Price. On Oct. 6, 1951, she married C. Grant Gottshall Jr. at Zion Lutheran Church in Hollidaysburg.

Surviving are her loving husband of 68 years; four children: Gretchen (Tom) Lechner, Susan (Lorrenzo) Recchia, Sara (Curt) Fralish and David (Shelly) Gottshall, all of Altoona.; eight grandchildren: Jessica, Anthony, Stacy, Adam, Nicholas, Ashley, Amanda and Alex; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant sister; and a sister, Miriam E. Shuck.

Pearl was a 1940 graduate of Bedford High School. She was also a graduate of Altoona School of Commerce. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Hollidaysburg, and enjoyed sewing.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2019, at Zion Lutheran Church, Hollidaysburg, the Rev. David Bowman officiating. Entombment will be in Alto-Reste Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park.
