Randy Wayne Bougher
June 27, 1956 – Jan. 17, 2021
Randy Wayne Bougher, 64, Cresson, passed away Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, at UPMC Altoona, after an arduous and courageous battle with COVID-19. He was born in Altoona, the son of Harriet and Palmer Bougher.
Randy was a devoted son, loving uncle, loyal brother, and caring friend.
He is survived by his brothers, Kenneth (Sandra) and Dennis (Cindy) Bougher; nieces, Danielle (Scott) Neely and Denise (Dan) Garcia of Altoona, and Lori of Princeton, N.J.; and his great-nephew, Brandon of Pittsburgh.
Randy was also preceded in death by his larger than life nephew, Jeffrey.
Randy was an extremely hard worker throughout his life, having worked the majority of his life at the Sheraton Hotel and Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.
There wasn’t a dog that Randy didn’t love or a board game he wasn’t willing to try. He made a mean banana bread, and beef and bowties. He also thought Canada was a pretty cool place to visit.
He was a generous man who loved to joke around. With his trademark hearing aids, his infectious laugh was a bit louder than most. Randy was a kind man who will be dearly missed.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, only immediate family will participate in a closed ceremony. Interment will take place in Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are by The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park.
