Obituary for Robert W Mucklow
Robert William “Bob” Mucklow, 83, Hollidaysburg, passed away Wednesday. He was born in Frackville, Pa., son of the late William E. and Lois (Davis) Mucklow.
On Feb. 18, 1961, he married Mary Ann Chrin, who survives. They have been together for 61 years.
Along with his wife, he is survived by three daughters: Lois (Jeff) Scarangella of Bellwood, Gwyn (Tim) O’Brien of Hollidaysburg and Hope Mucklow of Boca Raton, Fla.; grandchildren, Kelly O’Brien, Amy (Elliot) Riggle and Elise Rivas.
Bob was a member of the Frackville High School graduating Class of 1956 and graduated from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in 1960 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
He worked for Eli Lilly for 32 years as a medical service representative and as a pharmacist.
Bob was a very loving family man who loved his children and grandchildren very much; and cared greatly for his friends.
Bob was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Hollidaysburg. He was also a gifted athlete and an avid golf and tennis player. He was a long-time member of the Park Hills Country Club.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Hollidaysburg. Interment will take place at Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Young Life of Central PA, 117 Quince Court, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
