Obituary for Robert Gage "Robbie" Chathams
Robert “Robbie” Gage Chathams, 21, of Camp Pendleton, CA, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021.
He was born on June 18, 2000, in Altoona, PA; a son of Robert E. Chathams and Denise A. Pucciarella.
Robbie was a 2018 graduate of the Altoona Area High School. On September 23, 2019, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He was stationed at Camp Pendleton, in California, proudly earning the rank of LCPL.
He enjoyed fishing, shooting his guns and riding motorcycles. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Robert is survived by his parents, Robert E. Chathams (Kathy) of Altoona and Denise A. Pucciarella (Lee) of Altoona; eight siblings,Tiffany Clancy (Nate), Morgan Chathams (Jaret), Alex Ross, Colton Chathams, Jake Ross, Cody Chathams, Miley Sinisi and Toby Pucciarella. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Rick and Ellie Pucciarella and a nephew, Anderson Clancy.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Sue Chathams.
Family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021, at the Good Funeral Home, 108 Alto Reste Park, Altoona. An additional visitation time will be held from 10 - 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Mielnik officiating.
Burial with full Military Honors will immediately follow at the Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robbie’s memory to the Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602.
