Robert “Bob” Daniel Freiwald, 74 of Martinsburg, PA; passed away on Thursday, December 10 2020 at his home. He was born on June 18, 1946 in Johnstown, PA; a son of the late Emil C. and Helen (Kapitan) Freiwald. He was previously married to Lola (Hockey) Freiwald and later married Mary Jane (Palm) Freiwald, who preceded him in death. He is survived by children Robert Freiwald married to Trista and Sherry Freiwald; sister Elizabeth Rhoades married to Terry and sister-in-law Cindy Freiwald, Ft. Worth, TX; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends and caregivers Cindy Burkhart and Bryan Mapes. Along with his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a brother Emil Freiwald. Bob was a graduate of Franklin High School Class of 1964. After graduation he went on to serve in the Army National Guard. He was employed at the former Sherer Oil Company in Johnstown until his retirement. Bob enjoyed watching football, baseball, NASCAR racing and was fond of James Bond movies, the television series “Columbo”. He also liked to go yard saling and duck feeding in the summer.
