Obituary for Robert W. "Bob" Lennon

Robert (Bob) Lennon, 68, formerly of Johnstown, passed away at Maybrook Hills surrounded by family.
Bob was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 23, 1951 to George and Bernadette (Lynch) Lennon. He is proceeded in death by his father. He was extremely proud of his Irish heritage.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Banfield) and his sons, Ryan (Pittsburgh) and Patrick (Florida) and his boxer, Toby. He is also survived by his mother, Bernadette; sisters: Eileen (Dennis) Davenport, Regina Orapello and his brothers: James (Veronica) and G. Michael (Nora) Lennon, special aunts and uncle: Geraldine Engeldrum, Kathy Lynch, Andrea Lynch and Lawrence Lynch along with several nieces and nephews.
Bob was a graduate of King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa and retired from the Department of the Treasury in 2001 after over 25 years of service. He was an avid golfer and sports fan especially his New York Rangers. He enjoyed watching his sons play soccer, baseball, hockey and golf.
Bob faced his Parkinson's disease with courage and displayed his strength through his final hours. He was a generous caring father and husband and will be greatly missed.
Friends and family are invited to meet Friday, December 20 from 4 to 7 pm at Good Funeral Home 108 Alto Reste Park, Altoona. A Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Mary Church, 312 Clark St, Hollidaysburg. In lieu of flowers make donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America at https://wish.org/
