Ronald R. ‘Ronnie’ Dandrea

Ronald R. “Ronnie” Dandrea, 54, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Altoona Hospital. He was born in Altoona, son of Ronald D. and Joanne (Cody) Dandrea.
Surviving are: his mother, Joanne; sister, Pamela Macharola (Carl); brother, Pat Dandrea (Shawnee); two aunts: Carole Dandrea and Annette Ajay; nephews: Michael (Angel) Dandrea, Vince (Megan) Macharola, and Danny Macharola; and great-nieces and great-nephew: Aubriella and Dominic Dandrea, and Maya Macharola.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Ronald; and his grandparents: Roy and Margaret Harshbarger and Pat and Jessie Dandrea.
Ronnie enjoyed his dog, Pablo, golfing, and computers. He was a 1984 Hollidaysburg Area High School graduate and attended Slippery Rock University.
Ronnie was employed in the family business at Blair Candy for 32 years.
There will be no viewing or services. Interment will take place in Alto-Reste Park.
