Sandra G. "Sandy" Garwood, 72, Duncansville went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring.
She was born in Greensburg, daughter of the late Richard G. and Betty L. (Jose) Holliday. On June 8, 1968, she married Dennis L. in Altoona.
Surviving are her two sons: Dwayne and wife, Christine, of Altoona, and Daniel and wife, Julie, of Martinsburg; and her granddaughter, Emily-Grace of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis L.; and her sister, Margery L. Holdren.
Sandy was a 1964 graduate of Norwin High School in Irwin. She was a member of the Grace Fellowship Grace Brethren Church.
Friends will be received 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, 2019, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park, where a funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Pastor Mark Lingenfelter officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the legacy fund of the Grace Fellowship Church, 14 Brethren Lane, Duncansville, PA 16635.
