Stephanie Walker Badorrek
Stephanie G. Badorrek, 61, of Altoona, passed away Friday morning, April 9, 2021, at her residence after courageously fighting a two year battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was born the daughter of the late Harry C. Walker Jr. and Marjorie (Dunnenberger) Walker. She married Harry W. Badorrek Jr. on May 2, 1981.
In addition to her husband, surviving are: a son, Stephen (Nicole) of Altoona; a sister, Susan (Philip) Harrison of New Castle; and a brother, H. Scott Walker of Altoona.
Stephanie was a born again Christian and longtime member of the Altoona Alliance Church. She was a 1977 graduate of Altoona Area High School.
Visitation will be held 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2021, at the Alliance Church, 3220 Pleasant Valley Boulevard, Altoona. A memorial service will be held immediately following at 1 p.m. with Pastor Philip R. Harrison officiating.
Burial will follow at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please adopt a kitty from the Central PA Humane Society or through Linda Yvonne Straub, the Hollidaysburg “Cat Lady.” If you cannot adopt, please make a memorial contribution to The Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602.
