Teresa Marie McCaulley, 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 9, 2022, at her home in Hollidaysburg.
Born on July 29, 1948, she was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Mercer) Cooper.
On August 15, 1969, in Altoona, she married the love of her life, Gerald F. McCaulley.
Teresa was a 1967 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School. She was the General Manager of a linen supply company (UNSCO) in Altoona for many years. She was a hard working woman who accomplished so much throughout her life. She was of the Catholic faith and attended The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona.
She enjoyed working in her rose garden, listening to music, traveling, and going on beach trips. She adored her pets and cherished her loving family.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gerald F. McCaulley of Hollidaysburg; two children, Melissa McCaulley and her wife Nancy of Altoona, and Matthew McCaulley of Hollidaysburg; one brother, Mitchell Cooper and his wife Gina of Altoona; numerous nieces and nephews and her life long best friend of 70 years, Patty Phillips.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Lew Bowser and three brothers, Billy, Dennis, and Joe Cooper; and two very special aunts, Liz Shannon and Eileen Humphries.
Friends will be received from 3pm-7pm on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at the Good Funeral Home, 108 Alto Reste Park, Altoona. The funeral service that was to be held at 11am on Thursday, December 15, 2022 is cancelled due to inclement weather. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
Interment will be private at Alto Reste Park, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Carmelite Monastery of St. Theresa of Lisieux, 2101 Manor Drive, Loretto, PA 15940 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
A loving wife, proud mother, and loyal friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
