Obituary for Terry Lee Smith
Terry Lee Smith, 75, of Altoona died on Friday, October 1, 2021, at UPMC Altoona.
He was born on June 25, 1946, in Altoona; a son of the late Paul M. and Viola M. (McMahon) Smith. On Wedding date October 24, 1992, he married Rose Marie (Jorkasky) Smith who survives at home.
Terry served in the United States National Guard then went on to work as a Draftsman for PennDot. He retired after 45+ years of service.
Terry enjoyed sailing his boats, racing cars, and going bowling. Some of his memberships included: Heidelberg Country Club, Swiss Club and Unter Uns Musical & Entertainment Society. Terry cherished time spent with his family, he was a wonderful man who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife Rose, he is survived by his children; Todd Smith of Altoona, Terry Gensamer of Altoona, and Erica Wolfe of Altoona; two grandchildren, Abigail and Mason; and a step-brother Larry.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy and his step-mother, Mildred.
At this time all services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
