Thomas G. Walters, 81, formerly of Altoona, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019, in Reno, Nev. He was born in Altoona. Surviving are his partner of 20 years, Edith Adams: two daughters: Mandy Elgin of Missoula, Mont., and Sharon Walters of McKenna, Wash.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many extended family members. At the request of the family, there will be no viewing. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Alto-Reste Park. A small reception will be held before the procession to the gravesite.
