Obituary for Virginia R. "Ginny" Hunter

Virginia R (Ginny) Hunter, 97, has gone to be with our heavenly Father, peacefully, on January 9, 2019 at Endless Mountains Health Systems in Montrose, PA.
Born on November 23, 1921 to the late Myrtle and Ira Parsons; she later married (late) Robert R Hunter whom was the love of her life. They were blessed with three sons, Robert, William and Richard.
She was proceeded in death by two sons, Robert and William and a granddaughter, Gretchen.
Surviving Ginny is a son, Richard (Jodye) and a Daughter in law, Becky (William), former daughter in law, Yvonne (whom she was very close to), eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and five great-great children.
At an early age, Virginia professed her love to God. She was an active member of the Altoona Bible Church, where she sang in the choir and played piano. She loved praying, reading, puzzles, scrabble, bowling, sewing, cooking, watching her “stories,” and spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her furry, little, best friend, Tula.
Although she has departed from us to be with Christ, she will always be remembered for being a devoted mother, grandmother and friend.
Ginny often donated to the American Diabetes Association, therefore in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her loving memory.
